What My Law School Did To Me.

George Mason University School of Law This was my law school.

Moffett at GMUSL GraduationThis is what my law school did to me.  See Moffett dress like a Hogwarts Professor.

For reasons ranging from stringent bar ethics rules to a deep need for self preservation (see above vacant expression on graduation day), I generally am not inclined to mix my attorney by day, author by night routine.   However, my dear old law school has seen fit to produce an article featuring yours truly on page 15, entitled “Modern Day Juggling Act-Author & Attorney Sarah Moffett.”

Note to self.  Don’t give author interviews over lunch break in the middle of the billable day.  You say the dumbest things.

George Mason University School of Law.  Without you, neither my 2000 billable hours a year existence nor my present book deal would have been possible.

Please note, I’m still not sure whether that means we’re even yet…then again, considering you were bar none the best school I ever attended, I remain humbly indebted to you.  Thank you.
